Q: Why should I list with *maptop*?
*Maptop* is the next-generation real estate tool. We provide a visually intuitive
interface with advanced mapping features that allow both consumers and real estate
professionals the most effective way to find and share listings. Utilizing the powerful
Google Maps API, we offer a marketing tool that allows you to expose your listings
to a HUGE and captive audience.

Q: Why are some of the map markers different colors? (e.g. Green, Orange, Red)
Green denotes an active listing, orange is a pending sale and red is a property
which has been sold.

Q: What is a verified sale?
A verified sale includes highly detailed property information about a sale to include:
transaction details, building info (e.g. square footage, finished area, shop space
etc.), rent, cash flow and cap rate data, if applicable. Basically it is a highly
detailed write up about a property’s characteristic which has been verified with
the seller, buyer, agent and/or public records. Verified sales are used by appraisers,
real estate professionals, lending firms, and consumers, to assist them in making
informed decisions regarding property investment.

Q: Is *maptop* a free service?
Viewing residential and commercial properties is 100% free for consumers! We only
charge a fee if you decide to purchase verified sales, or post a ‘For Sale By Owner’
add. Other than that, feel free to browse our site to your heart’s content!

Q: Is *maptop* a national service?
Not yet! We are currently focusing on our home county of Kern so that we can provide
our neighbors the best possible tool for finding real estate data. After we feel
like we have satisfied our home base, we will look to expand to other areas that
would benefit from our unique service.

Q: If a listing contains an error, what can I do?
Kindly report it to us by clicking the
feedback link and give us a brief description of the error and we will fix
it ASAP!

Q: How do I get more information about a property I am interested in?
Please click on the ‘agent’ tab in the information bubble. It conveniently provides
a picture of the agent, if available, a link to their website and the agent’s contact
information. Simply fantastic!

Q: What type of properties does *maptop* include?
We index and display all residential and commercial properties to include sub-types
in each category. You name it, we’ll index it!

Q: If I need a particular verified sale, but it is not displayed on your map, can I request it?
Of course you can! We will do our best to find the verified sales you need – We
have a comprehensive verification process that makes sure we find the most up to
date and accurate information. We rely on our verification process as we believe
it is one of our core competitive advantages.
